About the Artist
Grooveswitch - a whole new flicker of funk soul.
This 8 piece outfit play from Long Beach all the way to San Clemente, they flicked the switch into “red hot on”, after positioning new members into the roles of guitar, bass, sax, trumpet, keys, vocals & bass. Original members on drums & percussion originated & celebrated the act years ago.
With a full album completed Grooveswitch has an Earth Wind & Fire / James Brown influence, the band differentiates itself with power to the people lyrical messages / spoken word segments from newly introduced Aussie front woman drawing inspiration from 90s acts like RATM. Covers include Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, RATM, Jjamiroquai, The Metres, Jimi Hendrix, Any Winehouse and so on….This band is fun, funky n phat. Polish your dance shoes, loosen your hips, get flipped from groove, to soul, funk power and back again!
