Electric Blue and Rum Runners

Electric Blue: A Southern California Rock N Roll Band.

Rum Runners: The Rum Runners were established by South Bay guitarist Jim Shank in 1996 as a Jerry Garcia Band tribute, which played for several years in the late '90s. After several years of hiatus, Shank revived the band in 2010 with keyboardist Ed Lyon, bassist Jim Beaudet, vocalist Lisa Blue, and drummer Brad Rhodus. This lineup quickly gained traction among SoCal jam band fans, and the group is now more active than ever after several consecutive years of steady gigging, with a focus on Garcia-style improvisations on roots rock, blues, soul, R&B, jazz, and classic country tunes. Rum Runners shows have plenty of energetic improv and will blow the minds of seasoned jam band heads, along with a great variety of classic, familiar songs that please music fans of all types.
