Third World: Celebrating 40 years, ‘Reggae Ambassadors’, THIRD WORLD is one of the longest-lived Reggae bands of all time, and one of Jamaica's most consistently popular crossover acts among international audiences. Mixing in elements of R&B, funk, pop, and rock and, later on, dancehall and rap, Third World’s style has been described as "reggae-fusion". Singer Bunny Rugs described the band's sound: "Strictly a reggae band, no. Definitely a reggae band, yes." Guitarist Cat Coore said of their music: "The hybrid of various types of music is a natural thing because, by growing up in Jamaica, we know the direct roots of reggae and ska. At the same time we live in a country where you get to hear Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and all the R & B artists." Bassist Richard Daley said, "We took roots reggae music and put branches on top of it".  The genesis of Third World was originally formed in 1973 by guitarist/cellist Steven "Cat" Coore, keyboardist Michael “Ibo” Cooper, drummer Carl Barovier and singer Milton “Prilly” Hamilton all of Inner Circle, along with bassist Colin “Oliver” Leslie. Tomorrows Children bass guitarist, Richard Daley soon replaced Colin Leslie and Leslie teamed up with Darren Green to manage and organize the group. After a few months, Barovier was replaced by Cornell Marshall, and the group made its live debut that year at Jamaica's independence celebration. They played in and around the Kingston club scene and on the hotel scene island wide, making a name for themselves as one of the few fully self-contained bands around.

Reggae Motion: MySpace facebook Add To Favorites REGGAE MOTION was formed in 2003 in Los Angeles, California. Determined to promote positivity and consciousness through music, the band’s founder Fabio Assis merged a unique combination of Reggae sounds with English and Portuguese lyrics that speaks about peace, love, harmony and Jah’s blessing. REGGAE MOTION’S infusion of that old familiar roots reggae flavor with a fresh modern twist finds its inspiration from the cultural and musical diversity of the band’s members. Musically influenced by musicians such Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Israel Vibration, The Abyssinians, Toots and the Maytals, and the Inner Circle, REGGAE MOTION has successfully created its own distinct style that makes each performance a unifying and energetic experience.

True Press: True Press is from Los Angeles, CA pushing to bring their progressive reggae sound to new audiences. The message is simple: bring people together, rise up, unite and enjoy life! Music has a tendency of bringing us together and taking us for a ride, and True Press is exactly that. The group met in Monrovia, CA and soon after began jamming in an abandoned house with no electricity except for the 100 foot extension chord running from the house next door to provide whatever power they could 'borrow'. Pedro, Johnny and KP began jammin around 2006 with Gyl Bonus earning his spot in 2010 shredding lead guitar. Not long after, True Press released their first EP "Sweet Reggae"and have been determined to bring their message wherever they go. With recent additions, Dan Kirihara, Pat Ruiz and Chris Parkhurst the group is ready with a new live energy and sound to rock any venue. Their first national tour "It's All A Jam" supporting Fortunate Youth kicks off early March 2014 along with their first full length album titled "Anything's Possible"... From daily struggles to world news, the message really is simple. It's more of a movement..... a TRUE PRESS !!!
