Chef Jack Witherspoon: Even though I’m just a kid people still call me a “Chef”. I started cooking in 2006 when I was 6 years old, after my first relapse with leukemia. I've had leukemia three times now, first diagnosed when I was 2, a relapse at 6 and then another relapse at 11. The last relapse I needed to undergo a bone marrow transplant, by far the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I have been cooking during most of my life; it has given me reason and purpose. I have raised over $100,000 for pediatric leukemia research from charity events my parents and I have organized. I've also cooked with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show, been a guest on the Bonnie Hunt Show the Rachael Ray Show and appeared on news programs on CBS, KCAL and Fox. In November, 2011 my first cookbook called "Twist it Up", was published by Chronicle Books. My book has 60 of my favorite, original comfort food recipes. I hope my story will inspire you and when life hands you lemons...just get through it and figure out how to make lemonade!

Jonny and The Jones: "Texas born guitar singer, Jonny Perdue grew up heavily rooted in blues & rock n' roll. In his most recent musical endeavor, Jonny & The Jones, Jonny fuses hard-driving blues with indie overtones. Growing up influenced by the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Sam Cooke & Ray Charles, Jonny carved out his sound for the 21st century blues and rock n' roll. After opening shows for acts like Robert Randolph and The Los Lonley Boys, Jonny's live performance is ramping up and his debut EP 'Javelina' is to be released next summer."
