Dreaming Dead: Dreaming Dead is Los Angeles' answer to underground mediocrity and mainstream banality. Formed in 2006 by frontwoman Elizabeth Schall and drummer Mike Caffell, Dreaming Dead continues to capture the attention of audiences and listeners across the globe. Whether through pummeling fans as a live act, or through setting up a successful Kickstarter campaign to self-release Midnightmares, Dreaming Dead is consistently in the business of turning heads. Midnightmares is Dreaming Dead's sophomore release, and it represents a continuation and a refinement of the sound on the debut, Within One. Characteristic thrash riffs lock in with blasting drums, and then it turns... the dynamics shift and a somber clean guitar evokes the stillness of night. Midnightmares is a self-released production, and it has garnered worldwide acclaim. Dreaming Dead is currently performing in support of Midnightmares and writing new material. L.A.-based guitar guru Chris McCarthy has recently been added to the line-up, taking the bands' live sound and songwriting to new levels. Expect crushing live performances throughout 2013 and devastating new material in 2014.
Snatch Magnet: Imagine a band with the sense of humor to call themselves Snatch Magnet, and you’ll begin to understand what they’re about. This five-man outfit from Hollywood, California parties hard, but rocks even harder. In a scene where other bands are “bringing back” sounds of yesteryear, Snatch Magnet isn’t bringing back anything….except for, maybe, sexy. With influences ranging from Queen to Avenged Sevenfold to Muse, this band is an ultra-modern take on rock, pop, and metal that says “Less is NOT more, more is more!” On stage, their live show is among the top draws in LA, filling venues like the House of Blues, Whisky-a-GoGo, Key Club, Roxy Theater, and The Troubadour. Their aim is to drop jaws with virtuosic dual guitar melodies, marathon drumming, vocal acrobatics, anthemic choruses, and of course, off-color jokes. Off stage, the band is extremely approachable and dedicated to carrying on the long tradition of partying like rock stars. Beyond the venues, their accomplishments keep growing. They secured an endorsement with Egnater Amplification. They placed songs in two Lionsgate films: 2012’s “Freelancers” (starring Robert DeNiro, Forest Whitaker, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) and 2013’s “The Frozen Ground” (starring Nicolas Cage and John Cusack). They’ve been tapped by Hustler Magazine and Barely Legal to perform at industry events, and have been played on hundreds of college radio stations. Their music has sold thousands of units worldwide, along with their full line of Snatch Magnet merchandise and apparel.
DMT : DMT is an American metal band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2009, the group was founded by front-man Jamie Rubel, bassist and vocalist Alistar Valadez and his brother David Valadez on lead guitar. After only a few lineup changes early in development, DMT found their equals with the addition of Erick Daniel on drums, and Jason Engols also playing lead guitar. DMT is known to be a powerful supporting act to Nationals, and is regularly called upon to fill that role. Opening for such acts as Korn, Fear Factory and Killswitch Engage, DMT can always be counted on to set the pace for a great concert. DMT's concept is unique and reflected in their artwork and merchandise. Working with various renowned and visionary artists from around the world, DMT is creating a full spectrum of designs not typical to artists in their genre. DMT released their EP "A Shift of Ages" in December of 2011, following the premier of their CGI video "Beneath the Surface". Due to the immediate success of their first video, Director Lord Zane collaborated with DMT on their second video "American Evolution", capturing the intensity of their live performance.
Exmortus : EXMORTUS is an entity amongst themselves and their music, both complex and thoroughly hook-laden and refuses to lend itself to easy categorization. From the technical death-thrash riffage and surgically precise drumming to their neo-classical, twin virtuoso lead guitar attack, fans of death metal, thrash, prog metal, traditional heavy metal and all true metal sub-genres alike enjoy having their craniums crushed by the fury of EXMORTUS.
